For over thirty years, area hospitals and physicians have selected this Office to defend them in medical malpractice cases. The Office has been SwedishAmerican Hospital’s lead professional liability counsel since 1983. Rockford Memorial Hospital turned to this Office when it implemented its strategic initiative to bring more cases to jury trial. Kishwaukee Community Hospital, Mercy Health System and FHN Health Network/Freeport Memorial Hospital have also over the years utilized the Office for their professional liability representation.

Physician liability insurers have also routinely turned to this Office as counsel for their insured physicians, including the physician-owned Illinois State Medical Inter-Insurance Exchange, CNA, Traveler’s, St. Paul, Zurich, Medical Protective, Ophthalmologic Mutual Insurance Company, and the Illinois Provider Trust. Many of these relationships have existed for decades and the Office consistently receives high rankings in its insurer evaluations.
